Tony has over twenty years of pre-hospital experience and is a full time Paramedic and Rescue Services Coordinator for Humboldt General Hospital EMS & Rescue in Winnemucca, Nevada. He spent many years delivering back country emergency care with Search and Rescue units in Ohio, Kentucky, Northern Idaho, and Nevada. Tony was the founder of the Rapid Access Patient Treatment Overland Response Strike Force, a volunteer wilderness medical response unit in northern Idaho.
Tony enjoys the challenges and unpredictability of wilderness response operations. He would rather spend two days in the worst weather in the back country with a critical patient than spend two hours on the road with a critical care ground transport. His love of back country medical response is shared by his wife Victoria and his two young boys. Tony is a very personable and energetic instructor who draws from his field experience as well as his instructor history with ACLS, PALS, ITLS and PHTLS.
