Before becoming a nurse Myles spent over ten years working in the outdoor leadership and instruction field endeavoring in a variety of activities including whitewater paddling and hiking to dog sledding. Myles has been a WMA course graduate for over 10 years and he was a student on the first WEMR course taught in Canada. Myles recently finished his nursing degree during which he worked in a wide variety of health care setting from diabetes education to acute medical, emergency and intensive care units. Myles is currently working as an RN on an acute medical unit at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Peterborough, Ontario. When not working Myles is an avid cyclist, skier and whitewater kayaker.
